I know this is an ugly stamp... but I am bad at making them. My point being of course that Pit Bulls are just dogs too! The photo in the stamp is of a Pit from our shelter named Noel. When I first met her she was on top of the outside wire kennels (it was snowing and windy). She was shaking and her feet were bleeding. I ran inside to get a blanket and I went back ot and wrapped her up in it. Then I carried her inside to her kennel. She didn't try to bite me, or hurt me. When I got close to the kennel gate she would bark at me. I think that for some reason, being locked up is traumatizing to her. When she's out she jumps up and loves to get petted.
She's not the only example though, I've seen tons of Pit Bulls come through my shelter and I've only been nipped once, because Marley (the one that nipped me) thought I had a treat in my hand. And even he was as sweet as can be.
It's just that I keep hearing more and more bull crap from people. People sayin "Oh those are bad dogs, they should be extinct" And these people have probably never even spent time with a pit bull in their entire lives.
I know you've all heard this before, but I didn't see a stamp that said it like this. So feel free to use it~ And thanks if you do!
